What gift for a 3 year old girl?

I'm just feeling really nervous about the party, and not having a 'good' gift to give since her parents are pretty well off...

We also are tight with money recently and I need to get my sister a gift for the same weekend. So i'm looking to spend no more than 10$ I think.

Also what kinds of things do/did your three year old get excited over?

hmmm...with a birthday this time of year..how about sidewalk chalk..bubbles...a little jumprope..stuff she can play with out side..i got my 2 1/2 year old one of those huge balls they have at TArget or walmart..she loves it..if i think of anything else i'll let ya know..

Those big balls and then write her name on it. If she has long hair, cool pony holders and or ribbons. Barbie anything is good for my DD's 2 and 4.

Stuffed animals and dolls are always good to. My kids get expecive things from my mom and dad and we get the "other" stuff and more of the "other" stuff is loved more.

I like the sidewalk chalk and bubbles idea. If she doesn't have a sidewalk,how about a cheap coloring book and a small pack of crayons...? Most 3 year olds will be happy with anything they get

They are just big, like bigger than a basket ball smaller than a yoga ball. They usually are in big bins all different colors.

Do a basket, big girls love them, why wouldn't a little one? Art supplies-including washable markers, stickers and finger paints or play dough. All pretty hair supplies. Do they live near the beach or have a pool? Blow up swimmies, a beach ball, sunblock in a dollar store pail. Pick a theme and run with it. Enjoy the party.
