THE DATE......details inside....

Well, I had my date last night! It was WONDERFUL....HE was WONDERFUL!!!

First of all, I met him at a dessert cafe....dim lighting, jazz music..he brought me a single red rose and a spa robe from the spa he was working for. He said I was better than he expected...giggle giggle. We ordered dessert..he ordered a chocolate caramel cake, I ordered tiramasu (LFL program be damned, lol) and tea... We talked until it closed at 1:00 am (we got there at 10:30) We laughed and laughed.

Then he asked if I wanted to go for a walk...which I did. We walked around my neighbourhood...talked more...held hands, lol. We stopped at a bridge over looking a small creek and we talked about what we thought of each other. He is very attractive...nice grey-blue eyes, dimple on his right cheek, bald (he shaves it) and about 5'11, nice build. But has this guy got personality!! He is terrific! He then walked me back to my car and we had a kiss (blush) and that was fantastic too!!! He is leaving for a new job assignment in Virginia on Sunday

but asked if he could take me out for dinner on Saturday...and I said YES of course!

So that is my date! I am a bit smitten girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am smiling so big for you!! I'm so happy and it's sounds so romantic!!!! Where in VA is he heading? Us Virginia girls will have to keep an eye on him to make sure he is behaving!! lol

How awesome is it that he works in a spa? I'm jealous!!! lol
I'm so happy you had a great time! Can't wait to hear about the next date!! Oh...did you guys know what you looked like before hand? Did you exchange pictures?

It's such a downer he's going away though.

I'm here with you - Smitten is a real inconvenience for functioning day to day LOL. (I know these things - NOW lol)

I'm going out tomorrow Theresa - I feel REALLY sick already! Wondering what I'm going to say except Hi and then hoping the floor will swallow me up! LOL.

I'm so happy for you! Keep me posted on him, I HAVE to know all the goss. LOL.

Daphne, yes we did exchange photos, but photos don't give you the sparkle in the eye or the smile....we both were pleasantly surprised!
Bev, congrats on your decision...just be yourself. I know it's a cliche, but really just admit to him if you are feeling nervous..that should break the ice. I wish you good luck.

By the way, he emailed me this morning and thanked me for last night and said he can't wait to see me Saturday!

That is so sweet that he sent you an email this morning!! I did that to Malcom right after our first date (thanked him for a great time) and we've been together now for almost 2 years!!
