colored glue
With a paper towel, pull out the felt tip of an old washable marker. Drop the felt piece into the bottle of white glue. Shake and turn upside down and sit over night. May take a couple days to color the whole bottle...shaking every once and a while. It's washable, as you can imagine from the coloring you used!
