Update On My Marriage
Well, this weekend was very
in my house, I believe it is an end and a beginning..........
Most of you know what I have been going through with my dh over the past year...well he got so wasted Saturday night watching the race that he went overboard... He said things he never should have said, he brought up the girl he had cheated on me with, he threw his drink
--- he turned over the end table, etc etc etc................. Well he ran his mouth so much, I had already told him more than once that my son and I were going to be leaving.. then my 19 year old son (bless his heart) came out of his room and said give us a month and we will be gone.
I felt so bad for my son having to listen to all the ranting and raving, I was so
about the whole thing... so my dh had someone pick him up around midnight and the next morning my son and I went to visit my parents. When we returned he was there, of course being so nice and saying he promised he won't drink anymore. We did stay together all day yesterday, but I told him I still have to leave, that I just don't think either of us is happy anymore and I can't live with the stress anymore... Please send me your prayers and good thoughts over the next month because this will truly be a very hard move for me... Thanks for listening...

Vickie,
I think this may be the turning point for your life. You and your son do deserve a home with peace and quiet. I will be thinking and praying for you. Good luck. Be brave and go forward with confidence. You will never know how good life can be until you take that giant step out into the world and seek happiness.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Stay strong, and do what you need to do-- don't let him talk you into "one more chance" if you know it's time to move on. We'll be here for you!
