Default What traits did your children inherit

    from you or their fathers?

Ds#1 looks sooooo much like his dad.

Dd has my curly hair and is MESSY like her dad. They both have to do everything the hardest, messiest way possible!

Ds#2 has his dad's big ears and temperament. Talk about moody!

Did yor inherit anything from your parents? I think I got my mother's creativity and my dad's stomach problems.

My older children inherited all my bad traits!!!

Ds#1 - stubborn and quick temper!! He did get my dark hair and dark brown eyes.

Dd#2 - stubborn and another one with a quick temper!! She inherited dh's auburn hair and grayish eyes. She inherited my "fat" genes and her dad's having to keep everything (packrat).

Ds#2 - stubborn. He inherited my dark hair, my dark eyes and my "fat" genes. He got his freckles from his dad.

From my parents I inherited my dad's quick temper and his stubborness. I also inherited his creative side. My dark hair and dark eyes come from him. The "fat" genes come from my mom's side. I also got my mom's spunk and wanting to be alone lots.

My DS got DH's lean build. He has some birth marks that are in the exact same place as mine. He inherited about 50/50 from DH and I. He is laid back like his Dad, but creative, like me.

DD on the other hand is exactly what my Mom meant when she said "I hope you have one JUST LIKE YOU" LOL Hannah is cranky and stubborn. She definitely is strong willed. She did inherit DH's feet. Other than that she looks like me.

Mine dkids traits are pretty much evenly split between dh and I. The thing that I find amusing is, two of my dsons have toes just like their ddad. The second toe is much longer than the "big" toe. No DNA test needed here to determine paternity, lol. My dgrandson has my "weird" big toes. I can't describe them ,you would have to see them. When dgs was born,my ddil looked at her dsons feet and said, "look at those toes" and she was laughing. I said, "oh, I've seen those before, I have two , just like them".

Well, DS#1 has my chin, my mouth, and my feet. He also has MY personality--he is stubborn and tenacious to a fault. His moods are mercurial, just like mine.Otherwise, he looks JUST like his dad!

DS#2 is built like my dad USED to be.He has my chin and mouth, but his paternal grandfather's eyes. He is moody and more of a loner like DH. He can be sullen, like DH is known to be.

I forgot--DS#! is very outgoing, like I am. DS#2 is very shy, but all of the girls chase him! DH is very shy, so he's a lot like Dad in this respect.

Physically dd inherited my nose ( it looks like a greater than sign) and her dad's allergies. Personality-wise, she is stubborn like I am and a hard worker like her dad. But mostly I think she is just herself.

ds is just like his dad

dd/18 took nothing from the man that fathered her. She is mine in everyway. lol
she looks like me, she has my temperment, she is creative, she is hardworking, she is CHEAP! lol

dd/12 is tall and lanky like dh. she also has his tendancy to tan really dark. she has my hair. she is like both of us, in temperment. she is quick to anger, but it takes a lot to get her that way. once she hits the boiling point, she has to walk away to cool down.

dd/10 is me all over. lol! she is the child that my mom said, I hope you have one just like you! well i did. she is a tomboy through and through, except she likes to be pretty doing it. lol she is also accident prone like me. she has my hair, my fat genes, and is short like i am. she is a scrapper. she doesn't take anything from anyone.

on a side note, dd/12 and i were talking about the kids. i told her i kinda expected ds to get into trouble, he was the only boy, he had to prove himself. lol
dd/18 was/is a bookworm. she always had her nose in a book, so she couldn't get in trouble. lol dd/12 is so sweet and even tempered, that i was shocked when she got suspended for 2 days for fighting. then dd/10, i told dd/12 that i was just waiting on the call from the school, saying that she has gotten into a fight or hit someone. we both just laughed!

so many I could never list them all! Dd has my face but is long and lean like dh, ds has dh's face but has a stocky, muscular build like me (at least I was muscular at his age, lol). They are also a combination of us in personality. I am amazed to see the things that they do such as ds hating blankets and coats (like me) and dd nodding her head not say yes but to signify understanding (also like me). But then dd loves the outdoors (like dh) but still likes to look cute (like me). Ds likes building things (like dh) but is also a quick study of technology (like me). Dd is quiet (like dh) and Ds is opinionated (like me). Dd will stew over a grievence for a while (like me) while ds forgives minutes after the incident (like dh).

They are such a combination of us, it takes my breath away.
