Marriage Is A Roller Coaster.
Up and Down, Up and Down.
So much goes on in our lives that affects our marriages. The key is to keep our emotions on the level while our lives go up and down.
Dh made the statement that even though we are about to lose our home, we have no money, we have no insurance, we should have never moved here, and so many things have happend to us in the last 5 years, that we as a couple have an even stronger bond than ever before.
I nearly fell out of my chair. You just never really know what is going through your husband or wife's mind unless you sit down and just talk. I thought he would say that we aren't doing well and neither is our marriage. We just have not had or taken time to talk lately. This small statement has really encouraged me to be more positive and be more affectionate.
I even found out that Dh has been praying. He doesn't believe in organized religion but he still prays, God Bless him.
I just wanted to encourage you as couples to make the time when you are all alone, no distractions, and no immediate plans and just start chatting with each other as you would a friend.
I think you will be pleased and happy with the results.
Lots of hugs.

Thank you for sharing Carolyn. Sometimes I forget to stop and just chat with DH about the simple things in life.

You got yourself one special man...I found one who sounds amazing like your own.
Ladies, if you got a good one make sure he knows you appreciate him!

Thank you Carolyn.
Sure is a wonderful, smart, thoughtful guy you've got there. Nice to be part of such a wonderful team, huh?!

You know I've always told my dh that I can endure anything as long as we can talk about whatever it is. Sounds like your man has mastered that theory as well. Good for you Carolyn. Hang in there!
