Madison's Baptism
Today was Madison's baptism.
On the day she was born her Grandma gave her the most beautiful silk dress that is almost as long as me with a little matching bonnet.
She looked like a little doll today and was so good. Her Godmother and I almost started to cry up there during the baptism. Madison held onto the pastor's hand while he blessed her.
As it is Canadian Thanksgiving today, the pastor had us all write down what we were most thankful for. I wrote down Madison. I was so touched when I looked over and dh had wrote "his family" Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
After the baptism we had a tea at our house. My closet friends and my relatives were there. This is one day I will never forget.

Thank you for all your kind words. I asked dh to charge the video camera AND the digital camera so I could e-mail people and show you. Sorry dh didn't get the digital camera ready. He doesn't understand why I needed both.

Sounds like a beautiful day.
Don't feel bad. I only have one picture of dd in her/my old christening gown. It is from a distance and the whole family is in it.
Edited to add: just don't do what I did and wait too long to take those pics! Dd outgrew the dress before I did any more pictures. And since we were stationed 8 hours away, the rest of the family couldn't attend
