Very touching article. That is the way I try to live my life, it really has been the mantra of my life.

Live life to its fullest, don't put on unnecessary frills, but treat everyone you come across with love and respect along the way so as to leave the best legacy possible. I so want to change the world one kid at at time, but that is idealisitic I know, so I will just keep doing it the old fashioned way.

Oh Heather, Thank you so much for this article...my mom passed away in October and it was a big help to me to read this....My mom led a very simple lifestyle...we had a very small house, and da didn't make a whole lot of money, but we were well fed had warm clothes and so much love.....

Mom was always a sahm raising six kids....Iwas the last born on her 45 th birthday.....she made the most beautiful cakes and pies and homemade bread and vegetable soup....she could sew very well and made dolls that are so beautiful......

She was happy, and she had all she needed ...and I miss her so terribly......Jayne
