Only had this issue with one of our kiddos...but I tried these with fairly good results ~
Baby oil....
cocoa butter....
do you have beauty supply stores there - if so, cholesterol works as well.....
I used a shampoo (Pure Baby Cradle Cap Shampoo-- found it at Babies R Us) after the oil didn't work on Maria. It took care of the problem pretty quickly. I think it was about $5 for the bottle, and I only used about 1/5 of it before the cradle cap was completely cleared up.

Surprisingly enough my hubby's grandmother told me to use old fashioned olive oil when my youngest had it. I would just massage it on her scalp and give her the rest of her bath then rinse. Worked really well and it made her skin sooo soft.

I don't remember exactly what it is called, but I think it is by Johnson and Johnson. It is in the white bottle with the baby shampoo. You can get it in the baby section at wal-mart. It is baby oil I think. It works wonders. I had to only use it on one of the boys. I would rub it into the scalp and then comb it out. It surprisingly worked!
If I can remember the name I will repost.

We tried the baby oil. Didn't work for Dd. I finally had to use neutorgena T/Gel shampoo. Just had to be sure not to get it in her eyes. It doesn't smell nice like baby oil or baby shampoo, but it works.
