Dave works 3:45pm to 12:15am, second shift. He usually has to work every other weekend and sometimes goes in a little early if someone is on vacation. He used to work rotating shifts when we first married and I hated it, especially third shift. We all like not having to get up to an alarm clock in the morning

Dh works midnight to whenever the job is done, usally 10 or 11am. He is a supervisor so he has to stay until all the trucks are loaded and the dock cleaned up.

Joe may have long hours on someday's but I am so glad he doesn't work 3rd shift. I would have to get a job working then as well, because I've gotten so use to being with him that I can't really get a good nights sleep when he is away.

Jon works mainly 5am-2pm, but today it was 8am-5pm ( a rarity). He works for a large grocery store, so naturally weekends are "workdays". He was recently on third shift for almost two years. Scheduled days off change weekly.

My dh is like Debbie's. 24/7/365! We never know what his schedule will be like. Sometimes it isn't too bad but other times I just want to pull my hair out trying to plan things.

Pierre usually works 6 to 2h30 when he was working. As you all know he is on sick leave now.

In the past he has worked, evening shift, night shift and week-end shifts...we really liked the week-end shift. He would work 3 days, 12 hours a day, but was paid 40 hours. The only thing, it was harder on me, since I was alone with the boys each week-end.

Mike technically works 8-5, but he has an hour commute each way. He leaves at 7 A.M. and we see him at 6 P.M..

DH works from home 2-3 times a week because he loves tucking DD in for her nap and stuff like that. When he does go to the office he leaves at 4am and is back for 3pm to again spend time with DD. He loves his baby girl!
