Dave works 7-5 usually, but his hours just got cut so it's more like 7-3 usually. When we first started dating and living together he worked 2nd shift, 3-11 and that worked out well, I just wouldn't like doing it with a little one!

Barry works most days. We own our own business so we're on call 24/7. Never fails too, when you have plans the bottom falls out somewhere......but there are lots of ups to owning your own business too.

Dh's hours are officially 7-3. He almost always works overtime and is on call one week of the month (officially). Realistically, they call him anytime, day or night.

He works 7-3:30 M-F. Rarely he'll have to work on Saturday or late.

Jeff works construction, so it depends on the time of year and when the light runs out. During the winter months he leaves here about 6:30 a.m. and gets home most nights by about 5:00 or 5:30 p.m.. Durng the summer he leaves around 6:00 a.m. and get home anywhere from 7:30p.m. on. I'm just thankful he still does work during the winter since lots of crews just shut down.

My hubby is now retired, but he worked 7-3 for about 3 years before he retired. Before that he worked mainly 3-11. I was on call 24/7 or worked 11-7 shift. When he worked days, we rarely saw each other.

Jack usually works 7:30-4 but his route(he's a mailman) is bunches longer since he can't cut across lawns with all this snow and ice. Sometimes he doesn't get home till 6-6:30. Up and down every driveway trying to not wipe out on the ice...long long day.

Rob works from 8:30-5 M-F. He occasionally has to work late if someone goes home sick since he is a senior tech rep, but he is able to use his laptop at home to dial in and can work late from home (until 8) if I am not going to be home to watch Julia (Back to School Night, Parent Conferences, etc.) However, there is no overtime for it because he is salaried. Tonight, they made him work late because both of the other senior tech reps got sick and went home early, but he had to stay at the office until 8 because it was too busy for him to be working from home. It's better than when he first started there, because then he was on a rotating schedule. 1 day a week, 8:30-5:00, 1 day 9:30-6:00, 1 day 10:30-7:00, and 2 days 12:30-8:00. So, things have gotten better with each promotion, so we can't complain. (I mean, he does complain because he's so unhappy there, but you know what I mean.)

Bob works usually from 7 - 2:30 p.m. He sometimes has to go in at 5 a.m. though. He works 11 days and then has 3 days off. On the weekend he works, he usually only works 3 hours per day (Fri., Sat. & Sun). Were really enjoying the hours he is working now.

You name the time, Dh probably has worked it!!!

Such is the life of a resturant manager (at least his). M-Th there are 2 possible times for him to work.... 8:30AM-8:30PM (but depending on any problem it could be later) and 10:30AM-Close.
Sun-Th they are opened from 10:45AM-9:30PM. After they close it is anywhere from 11:30-1AM when he shows up.
Fri & Sat one manager goes in at 8:30 until roughly 8:30
one is 10:30-9ish and then one works 3:30-close (they close at 10 on those two day's and it can be as late as 1 or 2 AM when the closing manager gets home.
    Sunday the shifts are 8-6, 10:30-8 12-close.

Thankfully there are 5 managers for now so he normally should have 3 day's off (alway's different for the most part) and since he his the level right under the GM he hardly ever has to close (unless it is Wed, that is Inventory day and they all stay late.)

(so are you confused yet....I know I am )
