Marriage tracking!
I had this crazy idea and let me know if I'm totally off base. In this community we track money, wieght, baking and all that great stuff. Why don't we track positive things we do for our marriage on a daily basis?
What you do think?
I'll start: January 20th-25th
Today:
I will not ask DH to do anything but relax after we put the baby to sleep. He's had a rough day at work today and could really use a rest.

Today I'm going to keep my mouth shut as he cooks dinner. I usually ask how are you planning on doing this, maybe this shouldn't be cooked so long...little things like that. Today I'm letting him do his thing and keeping my mouth shut in a sweet smile.

Nice idea Melina.

That is a cool idea. Hmmm I haven't done anything yet, lol. Oh wait, I'm cooking him dinner and I washed his clothes today. Does that count?

I'm assuming SO's are included so......
I will not complain about ANYTHING to him today. I will let him have his peace and quiet this evening and watch tv and not interrupt unless it's an emergency of course. (Looks like I need to crawl into bed with a good book so I don't bug him).

He's testing me...he put the meat on to cook without seasoning it. I'm biting my tongue.Originally posted by Darlene

Having fun yet Darlene?
Okay me next. I didn't say a word when my dh decided he just had to get out of the house again this morning! I baked goodies and made dinner. He cleaned up most
of the kitchen and I said thank you.

OK, I bit my tongue(ouch) and I did sneak a few seasonings on to my beef when nobody was looking.
He did good ,was praised and will now get an extra I love you & dinner was delicious kiss.
Hard for me to let him in the kitchen. It's 2 nights in a row now that I've let him play.
Dee...teasing from the peanut gallery may send me over the edge. Tease at your own will.

Today I went to Home Depot with him and was very patient.
Very patient.
We were there about 1+1/2 hrs.He was there to spend some money he got for Christmas. He bought nylon rope, 2sockets,u-joint, index rachet and a storage box. While he was doing that I ejoyed looking at indoor plants, the velcro section(who knew there were so many strengths & uses for velcro~ cool) and also played with this neat 13 in one screwdriver. I'd like that for my kithen toolbox, maybe when I get some extra money.

You get a gold star Darlene!

My Jack thinks you have to go out of the house everyday!
Me? I would much rather stay home, especially after the last 3 months of going to the hospital every day. But it was sunny out and I know I have to get out and get some fresh air, so I went with him this morning. I didn't complain until we had been gone for over 3 hours, then I was tired and wanted to come home. I was nice about it.
