Default With a tear in my eye . . .

I'm just sitting here with a tear in my eye (a happy tear that is.) I am listening to my dh and my 11 month old baby Madison. He is reading her a story and she is laughing. She is having so much fun. He is now singing her a country song.

It makes me so happy to hear. My dad was so horrible and violent and never cared about helping us or reading to us. He was ALWAYS drunk. I always prayed I would be with a man who was a loving father and that is what I have. I am so happy.

OK 15 minutes later I have to edit this. DH is watching the baby (or not watching her) and she pulled the laptop on her forehead and is crying her eyes out. She is OK. Bad Daddy.

This is the stuff life is made of.... even the bumps and bruises...
If Daddy kissed the boo boo and made it better, we'll give back his brownie points......
