My dear friend, whom I haven't talked to in a long time called me last nite
.....her family has suffered some major problems and challenges lately. The sad thing is that because of all of this her marriage is in real trouble. I really don't know if they will be able to work through these problems or not. They've been married for about 30 yrs. . It just breaks my heart. I'm hoping to be able to help her work things out on her end.........any suggestions?
(I started with the you need to search your heart and soul for what feelings you have for him.....)

I'm so sorry to hear that. Marriage relationships are so complicated, especially after 30 years. It'd sure be a shame to throw away all those years of love and trust. Maybe a counselor could facilitate some more effective communication between the two of them.

I agree with Karen...what a shame to allow 30 years to go to he11 in a handbasket because of temporal issues.....
a pastor, priest, or clergy of some sort?? an outside counselor?? a mediator?? I just can't imagine throwing in the towel and walking away after all that time without one heck of a fight......
prayers being offered......
