DH is gone.......
He had to go to Oklahoma for 4 days for his employer. I kept teasing him about having a party when he leaves, but it sure is quiet around here. He left me a love letter that I found when we came home. He is so sweet! We have never been this far apart from each other....ever in the 17 years we have been married. Sure seems weird. I had to add some little love notes to his suitcase and his shaving kit this morning before I left. I hope he finds them...lol!
He should be home late, late Thursday night or sometime Friday. Dakota and Chris already miss him.
I will have to put lots of pillows on the bed at night so I can sleep. I am used to being right next to him with our legs crossed.
He will probably sleep like a baby...lol~*Michelle*~

I also had the same reaction when I read the title to your post. It scared me for a minute! Enjoy the quiet time - Like Lucy said he will be home before you know it! I always leave notes for Malcom too. There have been a couple of times I have hid them in a folded shirt or pants and he never saw it cause he never wore the shirt!! Oh well....we get a good laugh out of it.

I have never had my hubby travel for a job either, it was always me that had to do the traveling, and I never liked it.
Just stay busy, he'll be home before you know it.

It is funny that you guys are talking about the notes that you leave your dh. I just washed some of the clothes that he sent back home, and found a note that I put in his jacket on his last deployment.
I guess he either never checked his pocket, or just kept it there because it was a note that said "We love you daddy". I didn't think to do the notes this time. It is a good thing because he sent all his uniforms home cause he will be getting brown.
Don't worry, that time will go by quick. Before you know it, he will be back home stealing the covers and taking total control of the remote.

I think he earned some brownie points too.
I talked to him last night and he said he found one of the notes. I didn't say anything about the one in his shaving kit. I figured he would find it last night before going to bed.~*Michelle*~
