went kite flying
Today was fun. We packed up the kites and went to the park. It was the perfect day for flying kites. The baby even held onto the spool of string and was laughing away.
C'mon spring! The crocus are up. That sounds like a lot of fun. I've never flown a kite in my life, maybe I should get a couple for the kids.

Carefree laughter is just the best! What fun.

I remember one year we went kite flying at a local park on a nice windy day in March. Mark was about 5-6 and a photographer for the local paper happened to be there looking for human interest stories. Well Mark got his picture (big one) on the front of the local section running as he flew his kite, he was thrilled.~*Darlene*~
