I read your heading and right away thought TWG!! Then I read the rest of the post!
I liked Miserly Moms, but I loaned out my copy over a year ago and I can't remember to whom! :bang:
At my seminar on saving on groceries I recommended The More With Less Cookbook.
Oh wow - my top choice would be The Complete Tightwad Gazette. Maybe The Frugal Woman's Guide to a Rich Life: Simplify Your Life, Save Money And Be Happier edited by Stacia Ragolia or Clean House, Clean Planet by Karen Logan.
I would recommend Your Money or Your Life by Joe Dominguez and Vicki Robin. This book changed my life and started me on the road to frugality. They also have an interesting website simpleliving.net.
HMM I borrowed a friends copy of the not just beans and I WANT one! LOL I will save up and order the old one (it is $12 shipped as opposed to the new one which is $17 plus shipping).
I also like the Encyclopedia of country living, I got it for christmas and though much doesn't apply here.....yet I love the secions on plants and such!
How to Feed Your Family on $50.00 a Week", by Rhonda Barfield. I also like Miserly Moms and any book that discusses the great Depression lifestyle. I have gotten great ideas for stretching money from the magazine "The Good Old Days"
