Question What are you doing for Father's Day?

    Father's Day plans? Gift? Dinner?

We are taking Mel out for dinner at Cracker Barrel (Mel's fav) on Friday evening for Father's Day and then will visit his dad and probably just give him a card. Nothing big here. We are doing it on Friday instead of Sunday to avoid crowds. Ryan is giving Mel a picture of her and him on their recent fishing day and a poem she wrote for him. Mel prefers things that are made by Ryan as to things I could buy at a store.

    What's happening at your house?

Well after much moaning & growning about how he never gets what he wants, I'm giving him just what he wants. Absolutly nothing. He says this is just a big deal for the greeting card industry to sell cards and cash in.

I told him I still want Mothers day.

Well the Saturday before, I am going to sell gift certificates at Joes resturant and try to encourage them to come back on Sunday and eat.

Then on fathers day, I am going to work out back where they are having a cookout for the employees and keep an eye on that area so the managers don't have to worry about it.

Those are the plans for now, but they are subject to change....lol

My dad got an airconditioner earlier this year-- told him then that it was his Father's day and birthday presents. I'l still get him some candy and cigarettes from the kids.

Dh--- wants a gas grill, so I'm going to tell him to go pick it up either today or Friday. We looked at them a few weeks ago, but I won't have access to the van before Sunday- and it won't fit in my Hyundai
