MIL & FIL Brag
Well first of all, I guess technically they are not my in laws, but you know what I mean. Mel's mom and dad are
They are in their early eighties and have every right to be full of opinions and everthing but aren't. They have always treated me and dd as if we were long standing family members and never show any favoritism in the family not even to those of us not actually married. In a world where in laws are usually a pain, I have great ones. We saw them on Friday for Father's Day and they gave us a gift towards dd's tuition to the parochial school. We refused to take it, etc., but they insisted. We tried to convince them that maybe some other family member needed it more, but no matter what, it's was meant for dd's tuition and that's the only way it was going to be. I hope that I can one day be that kind of in law to dd's hubby (in about 40 years of course).

My MIL can be a bit standoffish at time but I generally have an easy go of it. It sounds like you just lucked out! Enjoy the blessings!

For them to be so loving, you must be that way too.
Nice to be loved so.
