    Question Is this normal?

Ok Rylie is 8 months old and he has three teeth. His two front bottom and one front on top. So here is my question....after his top tooth came in he started, get this, grinding his teeth! He doesn't do it constantly but enough to bother me.

Is this normal or should I talk to the doctor? I don't think there would be anything I could do to make him stop but what should I do?

DD did that for a while after she got some teeth, too. It drove me crazy for a few weeks, then she just stopped. My theory was that it probably felt funny to her & she eventually got bored with it. I know it's annoying, though! Hang in there- I bet he'll stop in a week or two!

Laci, Both my sons (now 23 and 24 and with perfect teeth) were teeth grinders after they got their first teeth. It's nothing to worry about but it can be irritating.

Okay, here's my irritation with this....ds just started grinding his teeth. He's 18 mos. and has a full mouth of teeth. He only grinds them when I'm carrying him, so it's right in my ear - totally annoying!
