What is everyone doing today?

Today we are going to a farm with a petting zoo, face painting for the kids, kiddie go-karts, pony rides, and a spray ground. We're taking my mil in honor of grandparents day.

Jacks~ out splitting wood for our neghbor for a few extra $$.
Kids are sleeping but later dd & her bf have to go to work
Mark~ is resting up for his first day of school tomorrow.

I'm going to clean/organize today. We are leaving on Tuesday for a trip to the mountains. I need meal plans for the week so we don't have to eat out every meal! All suggestions welcomed! We do have access to a BBQ grill and we have a full kitchen. Everybody have a great day!

Today we're:

Going to church

I'm going to polish my speech for class tomorrow- starting to get terrified.

Going to our church camp for a family day- baseball, weiner roast, devotions and campfire.

i went to work, oh so much fun.
dh took the kids to the Y to go swimming.
now i have laundry going, kids are upstairs playing in their rooms or watching tv. dh is watching football. i'm either going to read a book, work on ds's afghan or take a nap when i get done here.

we decided that Tv is nothing but crap and we really like to have some family television time after dinner so today Bruce and I went to Media Play and bought some good old moviesthat the kids could enjoy with us - we got Abbot and Costello movies, Andy Griffith Episodes, Burns and Allen, and some really great old movies like Glen Miller (James Stewart), Miracle on 34th, old vincent Price, The Sandlot, and a few others (Bob hope, andrews, etc) Some GOOD watching for family hour with good messages!!

We got up super early and took the boat out on the lake, but when we got there it was thunderstorming (about an hour's drive) so we waited that out in the truck for about half hour and it cleared up. When we got back this afternoon, I started in on the laundry and loaded the dishwasher.

Today, I didn't get much accomplished....lol

I got up before Joe to let the animals out.
Played on the computer.
Then I got really tired and took what will be on of my last afternoon naps since I start work tomorrow.

After that I got my khaki pants out and a pair of comfy shoes and set them out so I wouldn't have to look for them tomorrow morning.

I also went on and put some gas in my car so I don't have to stop on my way to work or to the dr.

One thing I finally got done that I am a little proud of, is I tried on all my fall/winter type clothes and went on and repacked the ones that don't fit so they won't be in the way.
