Smile I was away this week-end...

I visited with my parents. I hope you all had a nice week-end.

While I was away, Pierre had to deal with one arguement between Mathieu and Daniel and in the night, Francois vomitted....Not the best week-end for him...

Now I feel bad I left this week-end...I'm glad to be back.

    Lucie

I'm sorry that your son got sick. Sometimes it takes us moms going away for a weekend to make our families realize how much we do for them though. Praying your family realizes just how special and precious you are!

Lucie I'm glad you got away. Don't you feel bad because you did. Dads are quite capable of taking care of their kids, even when they are sick. It does the whole family good when mom gets away and has a good time.

Glad you had some you time & bet your parents enjoyed your visit. How are they doing?
I agree with the ladies, it's good for your guys to know how to fend for themselves.
    Hope Francios is feeling better.

Thanks Darlene My parents are doing not too bad. My mom is working a little in a restaurant just a 5 minute walk from their home. She works in the mornings only. She likes it alot.

My father is doing rather well, considering he is not very healthy. He's waiting for day surgery, to have a lump removed from under his arm. It's not serious, though...

Francois is feeling much better now. I think it was probably an indigestion....

    DO NOT FEEL BAD LUCIE!!!!

It is good for husbands to get aquainted with your daily tasks and walk in your shoes for a little.

    2 reasons:
he will appreciate you even more than he does already

    and

he will go back to his work thanking God he doesn't have to do THAT every weekend or every day!!!!

at least that is what happens in our home! Even now as the kids are grown up, like when I was off at my sister's this summer for 10 days. Dh phoned lots missing me, complaining about laundry, meals, cleaning and telling me he could hardly wait for me to be back.

DD was there, and she isn't too bad a mess maker, plus she helps cook and clean, and DS was down in Mexico on the missions trip so it wasn't a bad load.

Still when I got home he was very very thankful to see me which is always really nice.
