Default He bought me a mop.

Ok, we have been through this before-most recently with the 320 ways to cook ground beef cookbook at christmas incident. Today he came home all proud of himself "I got you a present" I'm thinking gold, perfume, a rosebush--no he pulls out a mop--psychotic does not even begin to cover my reaction. His logic was that I told him to remind me next time we go to walmart to pick up a replacement head, for the one we have and I hate, so he figured he was doing me a favor buying this cheap knock off of one I did not like to begin with. I am a woman with a job and a life and can go out and purchase a new mop for OUR house if needed, I do not consider him purchasing something that I will use to clean up after him and his child a gift. AAAARRRRRRGGHHHHH!!!!!! He is so lucky he has a good head of hair or he would have been out of here a long time ago.

Hmmm Seems to me like he was trying to be helpful....I'd have thought it was sweet of him to remember what you said...at least you know he was listening when you were talking....

Course I know that's not what you wanted to hear but oh well, lol....

Men can get some yucky "gifts" sometimes. The worst one I can think of is the stepladder dad got mom when I was 12...I took over the shopping for him then!

I can say he has seen the error in his ways and came home with a very nice bottle of wine from my favorite vineyard last night. He is just so dense sometimes.
