Cutting off Rings
Did or have any of you had to have your rings cut off while pregnant? If so when did you have to have it done.
A girl I use to work with is due about 2-3 weeks before me and she had to have hers cut off last month. I've heard a lot of people say they had to have theirs cut off as well.
I know they can fix the ring and you can never tell but I just figured I would take mine off when I could tell they were getting tighter to avoid that happening to me.

I got pre eclampsia at about 30 weeks and had to have mine cut off cuz I swelled like overnight! I ended up delivering Aimee at 35 weeks.

just take em off when they start feeling too tight or too uncomfortable. I wore mine around my neck on a chain, you can do a fabric chain if you fear the metal chain will wear a groove in it.

I was getting ready to get in the car with your sign and drive up there if you where gonna say when should we cut them off! Go ahead and take them off and wear them on a chain to be on the safe side! My meds sometimes make my hands swell so I have to not wear mine a lot and I'm not even pregnant

Another who put them on a chain around her neck before the need to cut them off arose. Had my hubby put them back on my finger when the time came.

Never happened....not sure why!!
I gained 79 pounds with Katie & I've never lost it!!
To be so - ummm - *healthy* I have very long, teeny fingers - my dad called them piano fingers & insisted I play even though my passion was for the bass guitar - but I digress! My wedding band is a size 4½ and cutting it off never once occured to me nor became an issue!!
I think it depends on the individual!

Now I guess I need to find my chain I use to wear....lol
I still can't believe that the girl I use to work with had hers cut off around 20 weeks already. Mine were alway's loose, but now they just seem to fit.

I always took mine off when they started to get tight. My doctor warned me to do this so that I would not have to have them cut off.

I agree, take them off when they start to get too tight. Just wear them on a chain. Waiting until you can't take them off is ridiculous.
