Angry I am so furious with dh that I can't see straight!

I was taking my older dd to preschool this morning when my younger dd throws up all over the car.

So I call my dh, who only works 15 min away, and I ask him to come home around 11:30 so I can pick up Kathryn at preschool without taking Lauren out again. I was worried that she would get sick again either in the car or in the school.

He starts giving me all sorts of grief saying, 'well was it just something she ate, or is she really sick? I mean 11:30 is a long time from now--maybe she'll be ok then' I ended up saying that I didn't want to take the chance, and if it was too much hassle to take care of his family then fine. And I told him that I was going to hang up.

I know for a fact that his boss wouldn't have a problem with him leaving for 45 min to help me. He's a really cool guy, and he and my dh are very friendly at work (go to the gym together, go mountain biking, etc.). So if his boss doesn't mind, why can't he do this for me?

Why does he jump at the chance to help everyone else but me??

The other day we were in the middle of a talk because I was upset at the way the kids have been behaving, and I was crying, when my fil calls and asks Dave to come over (45 min away) and set up his internet service for him. I kept shaking my head no, and Dave knew that I didn't want to go down there that day (have been going there every weekend). So what does Dave do? He said, "I'll call you back Dad" Then he tells me that he's going with or without me, and calls his father back and says, "we'll be there in an hour" I was going to stay home in protest, but the kids said that they would be sad if I didn't go too.

Then we get there, and guess what?? The internet is all set up. My sil's friend came over and did it for them! RRRRRRRRRR!

A man is a man is a man--except my grandpa-this is one of those times I would feel cloning is ok. Don't feel like yours is the only one having what I refer to as his acts of stupidity, each day just varies in its degree of stupidity. Remember, what does not make you kill him makes you stronger.
