Default Have you noticed that some kids will always be...

accident prone!! The thread about Rylee (Riley , rylie - Spelling??) made me think of this. My kids have been taking  headers since they could walk. I too was one and still am one of the only people I knew who could fall upstairs, can't walk a straight line, can't take on any project without hurting themselves, and evidently there is some sort of homing device in my head for cabinet door corners!!

Poor Aimee can not walk without becoming butt-UP!! There is a joke at her school - if they hear a crash they say, without looking up!!!, "YOU OK - AIMEE?"

From anypart of the house I can hear Damon saying "I'm OK!!" after some  huge calamity, or Ryan saying "oh no" which just makes my blood chill!!

Do you guys have more balanced children??

Daniel still bumps into things, trips over invisible objects, and always manages to get hurt no matter what he's doing.

He even got splinters hanging Vinyl siding with his granddad one year, he of course blamed it on his being drunk! HAHAHA he was drinking ROOT BEER! he was only 8 at the time, but it's still funny!

He is getting better, but I think all kids go through the clumbsy stage

Actually no I don't. Baylie falls or trips all the time. What's funny is that she is really cooridinated at other stuff! Rylie, of course, is just starting to walk so he isn't too stable yet. either!

It seems like Chris is always getting hurt somehow. He has very tight muscles so he is constantly pulling and straining them. Let's just say if a week goes by without Chris having hurt himeself somehow it's a cause for celebration around here!

As I'm sure my mom can tell you I was accident prone as a child and it has passed on down to my daughter and now Wynter. She doesn't care what is in her way, she's going over it, not around it and usually lands upside down.
