He was gone for 16 hours yesterday!
Normally I wouldn't care too much, but he cut a hole in my bathroom wall a month ago to build a closet-still have a hole. Our deck is under reconstruction, still not done. Not to mention the hundred other projects he starts and does not finish. He had the nerve to ask me why was I mad?
Look around, idiot!
No amount of cleaning in that bathroom will make that hole look nice. (Mind you the hole is 4 foot tall by 1 foot wide)

My dh is the king of the unfinished projects too. I think he has ADD or something. He'll start on a project (like wiring the upstairs of our house, which is unfinished), he'll get about 3 electrical boxes nailed in place, get bored and go outside and start cutting down trees in our yard a 1/2 hr before it gets dark. I had a tree lying across my front yard for like a month before he decided to cut it up and get it out of there. Another thing that gets me PO'd is he'll nag me for a couple weeks straight to get him some pieces parts so he can fix something or whatever (and of course, he usually sends me out on a Sunday an hour before the store closes, so if I can't find it and every store is closed, he gets livid). So anyways, after I go through hell and back to get whatever for him so I won't have to listen to him anymore, he'll put it aside and get to it in a couple months. Now if he needs something that desparately, OI make him go out and get it himself.

I am blessed that mine does not do this, but my mom had a great trick-if the project laid unfinished too long she would call her uncles to come finish the job, the humiliation for my father was enough to break the habit.

Here is an idea for the hole in the wall. Go splurge on a poster of a beefy guy in a speedo and nail it over part of the hole. When he notices, and he will, tell him you were just trying to make it look nice. I almost wish the hole were in my own bathroom. lol
