My hubby is a field service engineer and yes he has to travel. He's always home on weekends. Normally he isn't gone over 4 nights in a row. Before he went back to school he was quite handy with tools he was a heating and air person and an electrian.

No traveler here..... the only nights that dh has ever spent away from home was when he came to see me in Nashville (when we first started dating) and the few times that we have been on vacation.

Mine travels but is usually home every night. Unless he has to go pick up some trucks or something. Not very often. DH is athe General Foreman over SC for his company.

DH does not travel for work very much anymore but there were times in the past where he would be gone for weeks working on building houses in Seattle or somewhere else when work was slow here.
