Smile Mothering

I wanted to share with you a magazine that I have bought for a few years, when I started as a mother, almost 16 years ago. It's called Mothering

I loved reading this magazine, because it reached how I felt about mothering my children. This magazine has nutured me and reassured me when I needed it. I didn't always agree with all the articles, but in all, I loved reading and exploring new ways to love and raise my babies.

Why I'm sharing it now?...well, I fell on an old magazine (a different one) and I remembered how good I felt when I read it... So I checked it out in the interent and I found their website!

Even the website has alot of articles to read. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. http://www.mothering.com/

They also have informative parenting boards as well. Its not somewhere I go everyday but there's a ton to learn from others as well!

I so agree with you. This is one of the few magazines that I make sure to purchase. I LOVE this magazine.

It encouraged me when I realized that my parenting philosophy was really quite different from the majority of people around me.

It nurtured my spirit and helped me to challenge and develop a vision as to how I wanted to nurture and guide my children.

I always feel like I am sharing a cup of cocoa with like minded friends when I read this magazine. I still read back copies for guidance and inspiration.

I enjoy reading the forums as well. Great resource to share!
