    Default Update on my mother-in-law

Well, after a stressful couple of days last week, we finally found out that my mother-in-law is not doing badly.  What we think happened, was that she had a bad cold, and needed to take cough medicine.  She got some that had codine in it, and we think that she was acting strangely because of taking that medicine.  Although we can't prove it.  My sister-in-law is down there right now.  I talked to her yesterday, and she said that she is doing great, and that she is in much better shape than she ever thought she would be in.  So, needless to say, there is no reason for dh to have to come home now.  Things are going ok for us.  Keep dh in your prayers as he had a tough day this week when he was out on a mission.  He had an IED blow up in front of the humvee in front of him.  He had to use the combat life saver course that he took and use it to save someone.  It has been hard on him, and he (dh)may even have some hearing loss due to the blast.  This was not the first blast he has had close to him.  So, please keep him in your prayers.

I'm so glad your MIL is doing well. I'll continue to pray for your DH and all the other men and women that serve our country. My Dad and brother both have hearing losses due to being too close to explosives.

Glad to hear your MIL is doing better.

I am keeping your dh in my prayers. IED's are nasty, nasty buggers. (Dh is EOD and gets the joy of working with them occasionally) I wish they would all just disappear. There are more than enough things that go boom without people creating more. Praying that the hearing loss isn't permanent.

Traci I'm glad to hear that your dmil is better than expected. That's a load off your collective minds, eh?
Concerning dh......I'm so glad that he wasn't severly injured. It's wonderful that he was able to really help someone and I'm hoping that his hearing returns.
