Food Wars?
Please tell me I am not alone here.
My husband eats "my" food. Before we get into a debate on his food and my food, I am talking about food that was specifically bought for myself or takeout leftovers that are "mine". Or a better example, do you have a husband that when he isn't eating your food, he's eating and drinking the last of things and saying nothing?
I totally feel like I am 10 yrs old and living with my brother and fighting for the last bowl of cereal or the last popsicle.
Along the same lines is the toilet paper roll issue. It's gone, add a new roll!! grrrrr
It's like survival of the fittest in my own home.
Pregnancy hormones are no fun.

At our house (just Hubby and me) we have an accidental seperation of tastes that make things ours alone.
I drink Mountain Dew, he drinks Diet Coke
I like dark chocolates, he likes milk chocolate with almonds.
I like cheesecake, he perfers brownies.
Foods that I buy or make specially for me he does not care for.. like anything in Alfredo Sauce. He is more of a MEAT person... and a small piece of that works for me.
The toilet paper rolls is also not an issue.. he mainly uses one bathroom and me the other. so we are responsible for our own rolls.

Can't say we have that problem here. Yes, he eats like a horse, but it's to my benefit (If you can believe that, LOL!). For example, before I got pregnant, I've been really watching what I eat and losing weight. I have a wicked sweet tooth, so any junk food that crosses my path I eat. One day, I'll feel like eating brownies (or cookies or whatever), so I'll make some, take 1 or 2 pieces for me and send him to work with the rest- let him get fat instead of me LOL! Same with the chips and anything else I shouldn't be eating. So it really works out for me. I really don't buy food especially for me, and the few things I do buy, he won't touch anyways (like yogurt, I used to buy Slim Fast bars, various fruits etc).

DH is not the problem. DD#1 and DD#2 are. I have to hide food from them, they will eat everything that is not tied down. Examples of things I hide:
Milano cookies
Candy bars
Twinings tea (DD#1 drinks tea too)
Fruity Pebbles
I decided that rather than get mad at them for eating it, I just keep it for myself. Although, someone took the donut I bought yesterday for today.... I think that WAS DH!

This is typical of my house--My best girfriend knows I hate birthdays, on mine she shows up with a big box of chocolates to cheer me up, dh ate 3/4 of it, naturally focusing on the milk chocolate, my fave. I went all types of psychotic! He thinks if I don't hide it I don't want it. I am to the point where I put away just about everything, and take it out at the appropriate time, in reasonable amounts, 'cause he will eat something til its gone if he sees it. "Didn't you buy....." just better not come out of his mouth if he did not tell me he finished the last one, he knows better. Boy he angers me.
