My DH keep threating to take another job and leave his job and loose all of our benifits!! This other job is supposedly better pay and benifits the problem with that is there is no guarantee that he will get the job or get better pay or better benifits and he may have to even work Weekends!! He knows how I feel on this issue but I think he still wants to persue it !! I am not mad at him I am just very mad at the idea he has!!

Well, can he stay at the old job until he knows for sure on the new one? That's just common sense to me.

About the week ends, would it be every week end or just once in awhile? Would he paid OT for those hours or would he get a different day off? It seems like there are lots of things to consider before you guys make a decision. Best of luck, and keep us posted! (((HUGS)))

It depends on the shift he would get put on!! I hope if he does choose to go and take that new job that he will stay with the other company until he knows if he has gotten the job!!
It would most likely be everyweekend!! He has however Said that no matter what he is going to tell the people he will absolutely refuse to work on Sunday's !!

Ick. Every week end would be tough, even if he is off on Sunday's.

Maybe he'll get a better shift! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Dh quit his job right at christmas(2 days before)and went to work at another company. He pertty much knew he had the job cause the owner was vice president at his old job a month before.Anyways it was a NEW buisiness so no one had any benifits until april. We could've gotten cobra but it was over $500 a mo for us,so I apllied for medicade for the kids but we made too much,Georgia has Peachcare for kids and is very similar to medicade except if the child is over 6 there is a deductible.(didn't apply to us)If you are concerned about benifits I would see if your state offers something similar. We now have the same insurance we did before with dental(didn't have that) and life insurance paid by the company so sometimes it does work out for the better.

Thanks for the encouragment and the tips!!!
At this time DH and I are still praying about the issue of whether or not he should leave his current job and go to this other job!!
In fact he has not even applied for this other job at this time!!
We are still not sure if God wants him to leave his good job with Great Benifits to go to this other job!!
I will keep you all updated on what he finally decides
