Default table talk - cool family idea

This company (Seven Locks Press) came out with "Food for Talk" dinner cards - that stimulate conversation with your family during the meal - some of the questions are "If you could be anyone, whom would you like to be and why?" and "Share one of your best memories froom the past and hsare one of your worst"  - great idea but they cost $19.95! I was thinking maybe we here at the Village could brainstorm our own dinner conversation cards!! Just basic questions like thos above... I hope I don't offend anyone by the way I "borrow" ideas...

We do high and low at dinner. We ask each other what our favorite part of the day was and what was the worst.

Thats a cool idea too- we actually do something similar at tuck-in (bedtime) - only its best and do-over.

We also try to talk about what is happening in the world. We did this with our kids and want Cass to know that there is a whole world out there that lives differently than we do. She is only 7 so of course we modify things. We also introduce situations and talk about how to handle things. cau
