Dinner at the table
I was wondering how many people still eat their dinner at the table? With schedules such as they are now days, it is easy to get away from that and fall into the eating in front of the t.v.
This is one of the things I am woking on this year. We used to eat at the table all the time then fell out of the habit. Since we were off for Christmas we ate most of our meals as a family. Tonight we are eating roast...AT THE TABLE.

We always eat dinner at the table. We mostly try to eat with the TV off too (we can see it from the dinner table). Occasionally, I will eat in front to the TV to watch the news but not very often.

We unfortunately don't eat at the table because it's always covered with homeschool stuff and quilting stuff! I have been waiting for months for dh to put a countertop out in the utility/laundry room on the cabinets he built (I think it will be a 7 foot long countertop) so I can move everything out there and reclaim the table for meals!

We always eat at the table. The only exception is Friday nights which are pizza and movie nights. Then we all congregate in the living room.

We have a rule about eating at the table. Most of the time it works. Kids always eat there. I am trying to save the furniture and carpet. Occasionally dh or I will eat at the computer.

We eat at the table for meals, but we will have snacks at the coffee table. I really like sitting down to dinner with my kids; I got somewhat slack about it for the first three or fours years after my divorce.

We always eat at the table. The children aren't allowed to eat anywhere else, and us adults prefer to eat at the table. I enjoy eating together as a family, we always eat between 5 and 5:30PM. Besides we just got new carpet and I'd like to keep it clean!

We try to eat at the table for dinner most nights but when life gets hectic and people are going in all directions we sometimes end up in the living room.
