    Default My DD got 2nd Place...

    I have great news!! My DD got a Silver Key (2nd place) award for the 2005 N.E. Ohio Regional Scholastic Art Awards Exhibition. She will reciever her award on Feb. 6th at the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown! I'm soooooo The contest covered 4 counties of 7, 8, and 9th graders!

    Her piece is called a medalion...It reminded me of a Kalidescope (spelling?) any way...I'm so proud of her!

    Ok...I've wound down a little..hehehe

    That is wonderful news! Sounds like you have a talented dd. My son is in 3rd grade and has been on the high honor roll ever since he started school! I am proud of him too! And he plays baseball and football, and is good at both of them!! Doesn't it make you feel wonderful when your children do good!!!
