How many Children do you have/want??

I have 3~Ashley 12,Katie 3,(both have bdays in August) and Jackson turned 1 in April.......

Somedays I feel I want another....Am I nuts????
I can't have a baby everytime mine turns a year old though...lol
Does a woman just know when she doesn't want anymore?

How did you know your family was complete?

Dh doesn't want anymore but I do......

I guess I should add...my last 2 were conceived on Clomid,a fertilty drug.If I was to have another it would mean more fert. drugs.

Also,we have a 4 bedroom house,so another baby would mean 2 children sharing a room.Should I base what I want on how many bedrooms I have?? I know this is silly,but sometimes I feel "We don't have room for another..."

After the 2nd we were thinking we would stop but I had that "feeling" of wanting (you know)

We got a dog, it was still there so we had another kid. I no loger have "the feeling" I see my nephew(1) and say I am glad I don't have that to do any more.

We have a 4 bed house so it was a good time to stop.

But I really think you knowwhen your done. Cuz I did.

So I say so it if you can afford one and want one and you and DH agree. Do it.

Well my husband always wanted 2 kids and I always wanted 4 so we compromised and had 2 pregancy and 4 kids :~)

We have 4 kids a 9 year old daugher and triplets (2 boys 1 girl) who will be 4 in September..

I always thought that I would still want another baby (I love that stage!) BUT the kids now have me drained by the end of each day..
My husband is sure and had the big V done after the triplets because he know he didn't want and we couldn't afford any more after the triplets...

I long for a baby again...and was really pushing for one a few months ago. Recently, however, I've realized that my dh has been right all along when he said that we just can't afford another

--not to mention that I'm exhausted with only two let alone another.

Have 3 DD's, and we are done. I had my tubes tied with my last c-section. They are 13, almost 11 and 6 months. We thought we were done, but about 2 years ago, we kicked around having another. So DD3 was PLANNED! We only have 2 bedrooms, so good thing she was a girl! I didn't want anymore after DD3, because I am almost 35, it's time to stop. We never "tried" for a boy, that was never an issue. Only healthy children, and God has blessed us.

I actually have two Darling Children!!
My Oldest is our Girl and our Darling Angel down here on Earth she is 2 years old!!
Our Youngest is our Son and our Darling Angel up in Heaven he died in Nov. of 2000 he would have been 1 years old this July!!
So I have 2 but I only have one living!!
I want however many that God would allow me to Have and Bless my family with!!

Carla I am like you I have 3,but 2 living.DD lauren-4,not planned but the best thing that could have happen to me.DS cannon-1 very much planned and lost one in dec of 2001.Dh doesn't want anymore,but I would like to have one more when ds is about 4

I have two my first born was a girl she is now almost 12, then we had our son he is now 7 1/2 after him we decided that was all we needed (he's a pistol and I couldn't imagine having him and another little one at the same time, thank goodness God gave me enough sense to realize that

) I often think that I would like to have another baby and it sounds mean but I just want the baby and not the kid, I love my kids to no end but I really don't need anymore. Finacially we know that in order to give ourselves and our children a good life that two is all we can afford. Two very healthy perfect children how could I ask for more? We are blessed.

We have 1 ds (2 years old) and another one on the way in Nov. I told dh after this, he's getting clipped. So of course, now he's hoping we're having twins or triplets- ha!!! I never wanted to have kids, neither did dh, so our son was a definite "oopsie". As soon as he was born, dh wanted another and has been making it well known for the past 2 years, so he got his wish. So after this one is born, who knows? Like I said, he's hoping for twins (they run on his side of the family), so obviously he has something in mind that I don't. Rather than him just saying "I won't get clipped right now, let's leave our options open".... But I'm with the rest of you, we only have a 3 BR house (technically 4- but I want an office/guest room). The money isn't the issue (I will not pay for any of them to go to college anyways- I want them to work hard in school and earn grants and scholarships to pay for it- they'll appreciate it more than if mommy and daddy foot the bill and give them a free ride.) So that's where we're at right now.

Thank you all so much.It's great to read about each of you and your family.

I still haven't decided what i want.My 3 are a handfull,and even though I have a 12 year old,she doesn't help to much with the younger ones,(Why should she...their not her kids lol)
so the 2 little one wear me out everyday....
I HATE HATE HATE those every 2-3 hour feedings....and the teething where they just cry ALLDAY...but I feel something inside is missing...If I don't have another while I'm young enough to have one,I'll regret it for the rest of my life.
I just have to think long and hard and see if this is something I REALLY want or just something I think I want. I mean heck...having another child is a BIG step. I can't play with it awhile and put it back.....................
