    Default Potty training update

Since the last thread I posted about it, there have been absolutely no catastrophies. I told her if she could go for a long time (geeze, i was thinking a day or two) with out an accident, she'd get to pick out her very own new panties. I forgot all about it...she didn't. So anyhow, she has gone all this time with no accidents what-so-ever. It's going wonderfully so far! SHe tells us she needs to use the potty when we are out, she uses the potty for the nursery workers at church, she uses the potty at home...we are thrilled. she has a dry pull up each morning too. This last weekend, she decided she didn't want to use the baby potty anymore though and began trying to scale up the big people potty...so i had to go get her a step so she could get up there without getting hurt. so now that she knows she can use it if she wants to she uses the big potty and the baby botty equally as often. And today she reminded me when we were shopping that she gets to have big girl panties...so she picked out care bear ones. we got home and she was tearing into the package. she has a pair on now, but won't wear pants over them, she wants to see them, lol.

This is great news! Must be something to do with springtime 'cause my daughter has been doing better too! And just a few weeks ago I thought she would be in diapers 'til she turned 18!

I'm jealous!! Jackson still won't let us know when he has to go. He wets the pull up allday.I make him go potty every 20 mins or so and most of the time he's already gone pee pee.

I DO think Jackson will marry wearing a pull-up

    Woohoooo Go Hannah Go Hannah.

Tammy, you might have to try what I did with ds. Skip the pullups (to much like diapers) and go to underwear and rubber pants.

Mel--I've tried that to lol He was standing in the kitchen one afternoon talking to me and just starting peeing. He hollered "Mama...it's wet" Like he couldn't control it and didn't know he had to go till he went.

We've left him pick underwear out.We get home and doesn't want to wear them.
