    Default Katie is sick :(

    We spent over 3 hours in the ER lastnight

    She started complaining Sunday night of not feeling well and yesterday she ran a fever (102.9 ) and sleeping a lot, so I took her to the ER.Both her ears are infected and her throat was red....DR didn't say anything about her throat except that is was red..?? He gave her amoxcicllian (SP) to take for 5 days,and motrin for fever.
    She hasn't felt any better today and slept about allday.

    Now,Katie is the type that will throw up EVERY SINGLE time you give her medicine.She's been this way her whole life,so we are having a time giving her the meds....

    She's one sick kiddo right

    Please say a prayer for her and keep her in your thoughts please.

    Aw Tam, I'm so sorry Katie is sick.

    Hope you can figure a way to keep the meds in her and she will be on her way to recovery in no time.

    poor kiddo!

    can you put the meds in a cup with juice or something to help hide the flavor? might help her keep it down. i can't remember how old katie is but i'm guessing she's taking liquid meds and not pills. so putting it in a small cup of juice or something might help. if she's older and taking pills, try putting it in a spoonful of jelly. my sister had to take pills in a spoonful of jelly until she was out of high school.
