Default Didn't realize it at first but.....

Paige was born 5 years to the day and around the same time as when my grandmother (dad's mom) passed away.

I was very close to her when I was growing up. She is the one that aside from mom got me started cooking.

What's funny is everyone wanted me to wait and be induced on Friday so they could be there from the start but Joe was already off on Thursday and to tell you the truth I was ready to be a mom. Who know's maybe a part of me knew that was the day she passed and that is what made me even more anxious to do it then.

That's neat-- and maybe it was meant to be. Now that date has a happy meaning for your family- and Paige has a special connection to your grandmother.

I have a picture of my grandmother and her "friend" (he passed away a year before her) that I keep in my car......I like to think that she is watching out for me and that she (as well as my grandfathers) are looking out for Paige

I totally believe what you are saying about the date having meaning...and they are looking out for you all.

we decided to name ds after my dh's brother that passed away...it turned out that Ben was born 10 years to very day that his brother died....it was very emotional for dh when the doc told us the day she was scheduling the c-section.
