Heading to hospital with dd
As most of you know, I have the child that seems to be permanently sick. Ryan has lots of gastro problems, ibs, lactose intolerant, etc. She's been real sick since Sunday. Random throwing up, nausea, no cramps or anything. I'm at wits end. Catching h*ll from work, school and Mel. Today there is a temperature and she's no better. She moaned in her sleep most of the night. Can't get a quick appt. with ped. gastro dr. so I'm heading to the hospital. She sees a specialist in Winston Salem - Dr. Glock. Working on the theory that if I make it to the ER, maybe they can do something, call the dr. down to see her or get her seen upstairs sooner.
I can't take anything right now. I'm exhausted and scared. So is Ryan. No one seems to understand or care. Ryan and I are alone in this, except for you guys. Keep us in thought please.
Will update when I can. Taking a bag with me in case I don't make it back today. Better safe than sorry!

I am very anxious to hear how things went......I am dealing with some of your same issues with my own ds, he was in the hospital 2 times in December and here we are 4 months later and don't know anymore about is tummy problems now than we did then, it has been a nightmare for us!!!

Hoping you get some answers today, and that they are as positive as can be.
Dealing w/pediatric specialists is a hassle-- luckily we live 45 minutes from a children's hospital so we didn't have far to travel, but her dd's gastro has the personality of a wet noodle. I hope you get to see one soon and that they are able to give your daughter some help.
