    Smile Aiden's appointment today

Today Aiden had to go in for a weight check, he is headed back up the scale and is 6 lb 12 oz which is only 3 oz shy of birthweight, so he's doing good. He'd lost a total of 11 oz before he began gaining weight. His jaundice is going away, and he had his second PKU test today. (i don't knw if it is a nationally done test, but here you have to do one 24 hrs after birth, and one 8-14 days after birth. ) He lost his umbilical cord on Wednesday, but the navel still has some bleeding going on, but doc said it's not a big deal, t'll heal over soon.

Things are going well here, I am getting back into my pre pregnancy pants (dont' read too much into that, i was big to start with, lol) and the support of those pants on my belly sure feels good on the surgery site.

That's about it from here, and since everyone is asleep, i need to go too! Hugs!

Glad he is gaining again and his jaundice is going away! I know that is stress off of you. He is such an angel thank you for sharing the pictures with us!

Woohoo for the pre-pregnancy pants too Have you thought of wearing a support garment? If you don't have any those excersize belts will do the same trick and aren't as expensive I hope you are healing well too! Get lots of rest

Glad to hear that everyone is doing okay. Bet Aiden was the best looking baby at the doctor's office.

Good for you on the pre-pregnancy pants I'm still not back in to mine 14 years later!

We have to do a PKU test here too but I think it's just at birth. (Okay that could have changed in 14 years)

Glad Aiden and mommy are doing well!
