Unhappy 2yr old had her first (hopefully only) CT scan....

Tuesday DS1 was playing with the ball and bat and ended up connecting not only with the ball but with my two year old daughters HEAD!!!! Thought ok it was a hard hit, but I will just moniter her.. Well she went right to sleep(normal after a hit on the head), then she threw up... Then we wre slightly concerned....Called the doctor and she said protocal to take someone to the hospital states they need to be sick three or more times, well it did not take long for that to happen.. Went to the ER and they gave her a CT scan, and it was normal- thank God... While in the waiting room, there was a four year old that had also been whacked in the head by HIS older brother, and all I could ask the dad was...."Is it baseball season or what??"...He just rolled his eyes and said "I guess."... Any how I hope that I never have to see an ER again.. She is totally fine now too.... Back to herself. So how has your week gone?

Thankfully much better than yours'..... I'm sorry about that baby. How awfully scarey that had to be for you all. I hope that she continues to do fine. My ds got a bad concussion in football in H.S. . We didn't notice it until I was talking to him and his pupils were uneven. Even after 4 years they still are. The catscan was ok, showed the concussion but no permanent damage...??? Anyway I hope your baby is fine.

So glad that she is ok! Did they have to sedate her for it? My first had to have a CT when she was about 12 weeks old for a hemangioma that was growing in her softspot, and she had to be sedated.

Aww Bonnie, hope Valory hasn't any more problems from this. You must have been so nervous about it all.

I am so glad to hear she will be ok.

I remember when DS#2 did that to DS#3. DS#3 ended up getting stitches.
