We don't allow Isabel to watch t.v but we do get her dvds and videos at the library. I can tolerate Blues Clues pretty well but Dora the Explorer really gets on my nerves She also enjoys Clifford the Big Red Dog, Sesame Street (& Elmos' World) and Bob the Builder. Sometimes we watch Disney or Pixar family movies together. She's just now getting old enough to watch anything longer than an hour.

We watch Dora the Explorer every day. We also sometimes watch Blue's Clues, Seasame Street, and Calliou.

Often we watch together (ok, actually I'll read a book while she watches), or, she's in the next room watching her show while I'm here reading email and surfing online. I do limit her on how much she can watch-- after an hour, I usually change the channel to something she won't watch or turn it off.

DD only watches PBS or DVDs. Most days we watch Sesame Street, sometimes Bob the builder or Thomas the train. If DHs home they watch Dragon Tails together. It's about 50/50 that I sit with her. She usually doesn't sit through the whole show herself though.

When my kids were small, they loved cartoons -- and we watched Rugrats a LOT. Also Bear in the Big Blue House, but that show aired just when they were a little too old to fall in love with it.

Now that they are 12, we watch movies together, and they watch a lot of the BBCA shows with me -- my addiction. My son is especially fond of Monty Python.
