    Unhappy Nervous mom...

    DH took Ds1 out 4 wheeling and overnight camping. The camping part doesn't scare me, but the 4 wheeling does. I have been trying depsertely to find other things to think about. They are going to a sand dune area south of where we live about 4 hours away. They are going in a large group of friends and trucks. My worry is that DH *JUST* fixed his truck and that the alignment still needed some more work.

    I know Dh is capable and i tell you, I have never seen anyone ever who can make a truck give someone it's best. He's like a truck-whisperer, lol.

    But all kidding aside, I am nervous. More so than I have been before when they've gone camping. With the 4th of July weekend, I am sure someone will have brought along fireworks or at least firecrackers of some sort. That makes me all kinds of nervous.

    I packed them some medical supplies and slipped a card into DS1's back pocket with our home address and phone number in it.

    I am a nervous nelly by nature, but please, if you have spare time, think good thoughts for ds...oh, yeah and dh too.

    Hang in there. Sending you big hugs, tons of prayer and wishes for a happy, safe, funfilled holiday for ALL of you! Now you go and do something nice for yourself...how about a tall cold glass of ice tea, a great novel and a porch swing in the shade...or maybe a dip in the local pool...or a long hot bubblebath and a nice nap...or....the be all end all on a bad day....... chocolate!!!

    They're home safe and sound...and with about half of the sand dunes cakes on them and the truck! They had a blast and are kinda worn out.
