couple of fall activities for young kids
• Walk a leafy labyrinth. When leaves cover the lawn, rake a twisting pathway through them. Copy a classic maze for extra credit.
• Find a lollipop. Hide a wrapped lollipop under a leaf pile. The first one to find it keeps it.

Favorite Fall Activities
What are your favorite fall activities? Fall is my favorite season and I love to be outside when the air turns crisp and the colors are changing. It just makes me feel so invigorated and happy.
Some of my favorite falls activities are:
Visiting the pumpkin farms, when my kids were small we loved picking out the pumpkins for jack-o-lanterns and for fall decorating.
Taking nature hikes, we have some gorgeous public parks and trails that we love to hike or just take a leisurely stroll on. We love to pick up the fall leaves for decorating.
Visiting apple orchards, there is nothing like a glass of warm spiced apple cider to make you really appreciate fall.
Visit the Farmer's Market. I love to purchase the late summer veggies and the fall squash, pumpkins and corn.
Play in the fallen leaves. When the kids were little, we would rake them up into big piles and the kids would have a ball running and jumping in them.
Now, what are your favorite activities?

That would have to be Football. We eat, breathe and sleep football in our town. My ds1 and ds2 play so we are busy from Monday until Saturday and sometimes Sunday as well with it.

My girls have been asking to go on a hayride and pumpkin picking since last October-they loved it so much last year we took them twice! They haven't stopped talking about it all year, I keep hoping to put it off until at least the first week of October, otherwise it's too hot to leave them out in front of our house, they'll roast!
