Not too much this year, thankfully. Youngest dd is fitting into older dd's winter things now, she doesn't need anything. older dd finally grew into last years' clearance columbia snowsuit ($10 down from $125!!!), so all she really needs is socks and mittens. ds has outgrown everything .. but so did my neighbor's slightly older son. So he's all set too. dh needs a winter coat - he's gone 10 years with the same oilcloth jacket but it's not water or weatherproof anymore. as for me .. just socks, maybe another pair of jeans or corduroys, and a nightgown. (i only own 1 pair or jeans, and tend to sleep in dh's boxers and a tank top. Not in NH this winter lol.)

I went through the kids clothes the other week. Then I put a couple 12 month shirts on Adam (yard saled tons of 12 month winter clothes for him) and I don't think he'll make it through the whole winter in just that size. GGGRRRR!

He needs shoes too, Grace needs a couple church dresses. I'm hoping to go to a huge yard sale run by a "Mothers of Multiples" on Sat. They have tons of everything, so I hope to finish them out there.

I need things, but I'm trying to just get one or two things each month at Goodwill or on clearance.

DH wears things until they fall off him. We stocked up on his annual undies purchases at the "back to school" sales.

I need everything! Even undies. But, I am hoping to drop some weight so I can fit into the ton of clothing I already own.

    *sigh*

DD said she doesn't need anything and she wants to spend $ on toys and junk! She still hasn't grasped the idea that her Grammy gives money for noce clothing, not toys, and especially not right before her Birthday and Christmas!

Would someone take pity on me and say a teeny prayer to help me with the willpower to lose some weight? Thanks

I got lucky and got ds a pair of jeans at a garage sale and 3 sweatshirts he liked at Goodwill. I did have to buy him a pair of jeans on sale at JCpenney. The kid has grown a foot. I bought oldest dd some sweatshirts at Goodwill. 7yo dd fit into clothes a friend gave me and everyone else is ok. I just checked winter coat sizes. We're ok if no one grows again.

Will probably have to buy dd a winter coat. Other than that, I think we are OK. Have lots of sweaters, picked up a couple pair of jeans at Goodwill, have socks and undies so should be OK. Hope to put more towards heating bills instead of buying stuff!
