miracles do happen!
last month my dd and i went to her o.b. appoinment, she was 4.5 months along. the dr could not find a heart beat and stated that the baby was demised. they set up an appoinment at the hospital to start labor as she was to far along for a d&c. the appoinment was several hours away so i called my hubby and her hubby and the kids went to his parents to tell them what had happened. i came home and realised that the baby stuff i had bought the day before was still in the living room and i couldnt stand to see it so i went down to see my horse. as i was crying and trying to deal with the loss of yet another grandchild i SWEAR i heard a mans voice say, your grandson will be ok. well by then i knew i was loosing it, as the whole time we had thought the baby was a girl. but i felt a total sense of relief, i got my self together and wen tto pick up dh for the labor and delivery of our granddaughter. we had made funeral arrangements, both grandpa's had decided to carry the coffin instead of letting it ride on the gurney.
we get to th hospital and they give my daughter th papers that stated the baby was dead, we went to labor and delivery, she was walking thru the halls saying, mom, my baby is dead, daddy why? it was the worse day of my life. they called her back to the room, she asked if i could come with her they said no, they would get her set up and then call us back for grieving time, asi sat there i looked over at dh who had his head back and eyes closed, i yelled at him and said " how can you sleep when we lost a baby?" he said i am not sleeping i am talking to the man.
a few minutes later our daughter walked out of the room, she looked at us crying and said, the baby is ok, it is a boy! so we went from plannign a funeral to a baby shower in a matter of minutes.
i know this is long i just wanted to share miracles do happen

You have been truly blessed.
Yes, save the paperwork! Miracles have a way of dimming in our memory to the point of us beginning to doubt our selves. It is as if we are meant to forget..... By writing it down and saving the proof it will be remembered!
Thank-you for sharing your happiness with us.
