I'm having a guilty working mom day

On Tuesday DS's pre-school has it's Thanksgiving Day program. And it's the first program, for either boy, I'm going to miss.

There's no way I can make it. DH is going...he's taking the digital camera and maybe the video camera.

I know he won't remember it and I'll be at others. In fact, this should be the only one I ever miss...but man do I feel bad.

And there's absolutely no way I can make it.

Ughh...okay time to contemplate robbing a bank.

Don't beat yourself up over this. Dh went and you'll get to watch the video with your son and he can tell you all about it. You can stop and pause and rewind and tell him right in the middle how proud you are of him. My dh and I try to make everything that our kids do at Pre-K and daycare, but realize we can't always leave work, so we take turns when the need arises. Trust me, I understand that you feel badly, but also keep in mind that you are setting an important example about a work ethic and responsbility.
