Angry Oh he is really starting to tick me off.

GRRRR I am so upset.I don't know what I should think. My dh is very insecure but now that I've lost a lot of weight he doesn't even want me to leave the house.I went up to his work the other day and he was like what are you smiling about.Hello can I not be happy and cheerful or do you want me to be a b*tch forever!!!And he thinks the only reason I've lost weight is to get people to notice me.Ok I think the noticed me more when I was almost 70lbs heavier.I was a cow.Not to mention I'm real short so It looked really bad.He thinks my whole personality has changed and that I'm going more places. He even accused me of having a boyfriend.Like when would I have the time.Ok yeah this week I went to his work to take something to him that HE forgot and then tuesday we went to the library for story time,dd's dr appt and to the park, wed we stayed home and yesterday to my dr appt then today to his work and wal-mart.woohoo that was sure a hootin good time let me tell ya.And what bugs me is not even once has he told me that he is proud of me,but when in feb and I was 40 lbs heavier than I am now and I was trying on shorts and held them up to show him he asked why are they so wide.I said cause I have a big a$$ ok.He is gonna push me away if doesn't stop this real soon. And what makes it worse is that we are going to the beach in 2 weeks and of course I'll be wearing a swimsuit.Maybe he'd like it better if i wore sweats.

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that. It could be that he is really afraid, and he is insecure about his appearance too. I think you have to re-assure him that you feel so much better and that you can be a happier wife, which you want to be for him.
Meanwhile- hugs and prayers. Be a little patient. Congrats on the weight loss-we're proud of you

Well he finaly told me he was proud of me and was impressed that it took me only 25 minutes to walk our whole neighborhood(a lot of hills)while pushing ds in the stroller. He did ask if anyone talked to me.LOL no they were too busy mowing their lawns.I think maybe a lot has to do with that he is working so much he isn't home to enjoy me. I also told him the reasons why I am taking better care of myself, mostly to be a good example to dd and to feel healthy, next is out with the smoking for me.

Sorry to hear your dh is acting like this. 70 lbs is ALOT of weight to lose- that takes alot of hard work and determination, as well as several lifestyle changes. You have every right to be proud of your accomplishments, and it DOES justify a change in attitude- you have every reason to be happy. Sounds like dh has some major self esteem issues on his part he needs taken care of. Big hugs, and a big congrats to you!!
