LOL, I feel for ya! My dh has another vacation he's supposed to take before the end of the year. We are tapped out on money so he'd be here with me. I innocently just asked if his company would just cash out his vacation pay instead of his taking his vacation.
I'm like you, I like doing things my way and having some peace during the week is very nice. Hope your week flies by!
Bring on them baby steps...

Hi everyone,
This is my first post other than my introductory post but that won't stop me from jumpin' on in here.
My DH and I spend 24/7 together, and we love it. He works at home and in the summer months we both spend way more time outside. We have since the day we met been joined at the hip. I don't know if there is a secret to it. If there was I'd share. Just seems we like to be together at all times.
I think when a spouse works away from home each person tends to have different things to deal with so therefore different methods. When they come back together at the end of the day or during vacation it is reasonable that these differences show up.
I'd suggest you go on vacation too. As much as possible of course. Get up each day and ask what do you want to do today. Of course with the holiday on the horizon that probably isn't all that possible.
So, I have nothing to help you out with I guess... Hot soaks in the tub may help.

Dh is on vacation for the whole month of November, glad to say it's been one of our best vacations yet. There is hope for you.
many years we went for only one day with DH declaring "why did I go on vacation" A nice time was stressfull. Still don't like him messing in my kitchen. Things are the way they are because I like them that way. Hang in & hang on!~*Darlene*~

I know exactly what you're going through as my dh took a week off from work several weeks ago and on the last day decided to rake the leaves. Well he hurt his back so he then had to take two additional weeks off. Now mind you, we both travel separately for a living and are not used to being up under each other all the time. HE DROVE ME NUTS!!! Well he just went back to work yesterday and boy was I relieved as I was just waiting to exhale.
